Zoey Horner of Zolero Beauty Salon in Derry brings over 15 years of hands-on experience as a professional therapist, salon owner and Harley Waxing specialist. Having used Harley Wax personally in her own salon, Zoey understands first-hand the difference that quality products and advanced waxing techniques can make to both therapist and client.
For ten years, Zoey worked closely with registered salons, clinics and spas as a Harley Waxing distributor, developing a strong understanding of the products and the needs of professional therapists. Her passion for education is reflected in her belief that “knowledge is power” and that excellent product knowledge combined with advanced waxing training is key to building a successful waxing business.
Zoey is particularly passionate about intimate waxing and sharing practical waxing tips and techniques. Through her salon experience, training and social media content, she helps therapists build confidence, improve their technique and deliver consistently high-quality results using Harley Waxing products.
Zoey also understands the commercial side of professional waxing. Her experience working directly with salons and therapists has given her valuable insight into how effective training, product knowledge and client results can translate into repeat bookings and a stronger business. She is passionate about helping therapists not simply learn how to use Harley Wax, but understand why the techniques work, giving them the confidence to deliver exceptional treatments and build their own reputation for high-quality waxing.

Lisa McCartney has over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry and holds Level 3 and Level 4 qualifications in Beauty Therapy Management, along with a teaching certification obtained from Belfast Metropolitan College.
While she appreciates all aspects of the beauty industry, waxing has become her primary passion, surpassing all other treatments. This dedication led her to establish Waxworks, a salon specializing exclusively in waxing services, which she has successfully operated for nearly eight years.
With almost five years of teaching experience, Lisa offers comprehensive waxing courses, ranging from beginner full-body waxing to advanced intimate waxing techniques. She finds this aspect of her career particularly rewarding, as sharing her skills and extensive expertise brings her immense satisfaction. Her goal is to help eliminate negative waxing experiences for clients, ensuring positive, professional results in salons moving forward.
